Cross-Border Executive Advisory — Singapore · Japan · Global

Bilingual Isn't a Strategy.
An Operating System Is.

語学は回線。組織を動かすのはOS。

Arcbridge is an executive advisory firm for companies crossing the Japan–global corridor, in either direction. We advise CEOs and leadership teams on three fronts: the management OS that makes multinational organisations run, the leaders who can carry it across cultures, and the marketing strategy that turns both into P&L.

The Problem
The Problem The Invisible Breakdown 見えない機能不全

Cross-border failure is quiet. Targets set, English fluent, org chart right — yet nothing moves. The same three breakdowns appear in Japanese companies going global and in global companies entering Japan.

01 · Talent
Top Talent Leaves. The Rest Stop Climbing.

The most expensive dysfunction never appears in an HR report.

  • A-players quietly exitAmbiguous evaluation and ownership push local talent toward the better offer — at 1.5–2× salary to replace, plus the know-how that leaves with them.
  • Quiet quitting takes holdThose who stay stop trusting the evaluation. Ambition stalls, and capable people quietly wait for instructions.
02 · Decisions
Everyone Understands. Nothing Moves.

The line is perfect. The OS is missing.

  • Implicit expectations don't travel"Reading the air" dies on contact with a multinational team; imported top-down speed meets silent resistance in Japan.
  • Decisions arrive too lateWhile headquarters builds certainty, the market moves on — and each delayed call burns eight-figure opportunities.
03 · Marketing
Translated, Not Adapted.

The home-market playbook, shipped abroad — and ignored.

  • The success package doesn't travelWhat won at home rests on assumptions the new market doesn't share. Translation changes the words — not the strategy.
  • Spend without tractionBudget burns on the wrong customer while local competitors set the terms of the category.
Services What You Can Bring to Us ご相談いただけること

We are sparring partners to the C-suite — through monthly advisory, project-based engagements, or leadership development. Every engagement starts with the decision you're facing. Questions we hear most:

01
Organisation & Leadership
Multicultural Organisation Design & Leader Development

We help you design how a multinational organisation actually runs — goals, evaluation, communication, 1-on-1s — and develop leaders who can lead across cultures. Your team leads; we advise at every step.

"Our local hires keep leaving."
"My team waits for instructions."
"How do we evaluate ten nationalities fairly?"

02
Cross-Border Marketing
Cross-Border Marketing Strategy & Fractional CMO

Market-entry and growth strategy — positioning, channels, and budget logic that ties marketing to P&L — as a Fractional CMO on your side of the table. Grounded in 13 years at Google leading International Growth across APAC.

"Is our Japan go-to-market right?"
"Is our agency spend buying growth?"
"We need CMO-level judgment, not a full-time hire."

03
Executive Sparring
Negotiation & Decision Sparring

Before the board, the JV partner, or local leadership: rehearse with someone who has sat on both sides of the table. We help you read your counterpart's cultural defaults and stress-test your position — so you walk in clear and credible.

"How do I get HQ to decide faster?"
"How should I read my counterpart's silence?"
"Help me structure this negotiation."

Not a Theorist. A Practitioner — With the Scars to Prove It.

NTT DOCOMO taught him the Japanese OS from the inside — the unspoken rules, the deep-but-slow consensus. Deutsche Bank showed him the other extreme, ending in a layoff delivered in five minutes. He has paid tuition to both systems.

Then 13 years at Google across Tokyo, San Francisco, and Singapore, leading the APAC International Growth team: 40+ members, 16+ nationalities, a top-10% manager rating — earned by taking blunt feedback ("Ryosuke, your decisions are ambiguous") and rewiring his own defaults.

Arcbridge is that scar tissue, made useful: an advisor to executives on both sides of the Global–Japan corridor — fluent in the language, and in the operating system underneath it.
